We purchased "Xena" from Debbie Schmoyer of MN over Thanksgiving 2002 to be Sierra's mount and our first Arabian/Shetland broodmare.

We started her under saddle and Sierra rides her huntseat and western. She has been shown over cross rails and verticle jumps up to 2'3" under the guidance of Bobbie Lynn Feltovic and Maggie Kinlaw while at NSE Stables of Parkton, NC through January 2004.

Since we've moved to Lillington, NC, "Xena" has been a trail mount for Sierra. She has also introduced several local children to the joy of riding by being a steady lesson mount - usually quite fearless. She asks that you pay attention to what you are doing but puts up with beginners' mistakes.

In 2006, "Xena" is Sierra's 4H project. She has been trace clipped (by Sierra) to make it easier to work in limited daylight hours while still staying warm outside.

Xena goes down to Whitehaven Plantation in August of 06. She's become a great little lesson pony for the beginner riders there. One of her lesson riders gives her a great ride in a local dressage show in Feb 2007. In May 07, it's agreed that she will be bred to Whitehavens' Egyptian Arabian stallion WH Marengo (AKA "Tumbler"). She will be bred later in the season, after WHP personnel return from the Egyptian Event.
