"Pretty Girl" - LS Pretty ME (Bonzai Bey x Satinlite)1999 bay Arabian mare standing 13.3+HHl.

Madira and Pretty Girl "bonded" in a local Arabian breeders' pasture, and even though I hadn't planned on buying an untrained youngster for this little rider, they are now on their way and doing great!

They started western, then moved to huntseat - taking lessons through 03 with both Bobbie Lynn Feltovic and Maggie Kinlaw while at North Star Equine Stables. "Pretty Girl" and 'Dira have gone to several shows - competing both western and huntseat in walk-trot classes and in cross rail jumping.

Since our move to Lillington, they've been trail riding - covering as many as 18 miles in a 2 hour time frame. They've spent lots of time just "whiling away the hours" bareback riding around the 10 acres we now have and going down the road ocassionally.

Pretty Girl spent time down at Whitehaven Plantation from September 2006 and returned the weekend of April 15th, 2007. Madira is riding her this summer. UGH. She's rubbing so hard that Madira finally gives up and roaches her mane. Over Thanksgiving 07 weekend, PG is bred to "AJ".

On Feb 26, 2008, she is confirmed in foal. From February on, Paula is riding PG to make sure she is ok for Madira to ride after having broken her back in an accident with a tree. Over the summer of 2008, PG spends lots of trail time (mostly with Paula riding) - going to Little River Trails, Twin Oaks, Uwharrie and to Timed Trail rides with the Yadkin Valley Hounds in Advance, NC.
