She is the one who really made us decide to stay with ponies, she helped to pull Larry into getting involved with the ponies too. She was very friendly and was a great start in re-learning the horse business. She easily accepted our attempts at horse training as I fumbled around re-learning what I'd forgotten. She didn't do a lot in MT due to my schedule. When Larry was with us before going overseas, she would follow him around. If he set his tools down, she'd pick them up. Quite a sight to see her following him with a hammer or fence puller in her mouth as he worked on the fence!

"Patty" wasn't a pinto but when bred to "AJ" she produced 3 lovely "chocolate" silver dapple tobianos that retained her size and disposition. Her first foal, a filly (and the first of many "AJ" babies for us) was born in May of 1996 and would eventually be named "Stuffy". She produced her 2nd foal, a filly, just 10 days after traveling 3500 miles from MT to NC. "Shado" arrived in a misty fog. "Shado" has gone on to a new home in Raeford, NC. "Spirit" was born in 1998 and "Patty" departed us shortly after her son was delivered to his new owners in WV in May of 1999.
