She is the first foal that we raised. The girls learned about grooming and early training with her. Madira started riding her but found that they didn't work well together, so Sierra took to her like a little duck to water!!

"Stuffy" was started under saddle and ridden as a two year old by Madira (5 1/2) & Sierra (4 1/2) during the summmer of 1998. Sierra showed her western in showmanship, walk trot and go-as-u-please classes at 3 shows in 1998. They received several lessons in showmanship from Jodi - working at NSE Stables that summer.
In 1999, Stuffy was leased to the Couch family in High Point, NC, for their children. They rode her, grew up with her a bit and bred her in 2000 to Ed Perdue's Shetland stallion. In 2001, Stuffy produced a solid colored silver dapple colt that the Couch's named "Scoobey". In late 2001, Stuffy was leased to the Schnell family of Apex, NC.
On July 29th, 2007, Stuffy has returned home. The girls were surprised at how "small she is"!!! Stuffy will be bred to "Iggy" in the spring of 2008 for a 2009 foal.
2001 - Silver dapple colt - "Scoobey" - bred to "King Larigos Masterpiece of Dixie "
2009 - Silver dapple foal - "" - bred to "All That Style n Flash"
There is now a test, introduced in October 2006, for Silver Dapple genes. Silver Equine
